When cursror of input reaches the bottom right corner of gcalctool's input calculus field, the programe is not able to follow one's input and types in blind. A normal, usual or generally anticipated behaviour should be the resizing of input field or programe window, or the scrolling of input area just when input cursor reaches the end of input area. Ubuntu flavor is Ubuntu and version is 12.04 32bit. gcalctool version is 6.4.1.1.
