Test Needed: Scribus

Scribus is an Open Source program that brings professional page layout to Linux/UNIX, Mac OS X, OS/2 Warp 4, eComStation, It's included in Edubuntu by default, therefore we should ensure it meets the Ubuntu quality standards.

New to this, testing now. Is there a scenario i can follow somewhere, or should i just try as much standard functions (open, save as possible and log them? I just noticed scribus released a version 1.5.0 in may this year (2015), since next release is 16.04, perhaps it's a good idea to push the latest version?

Here is the one for inkscape that Bart did last weekend:

You can stick to basic open, edit, & save operations if you prefer, or go a bit deeper into scribus. The more testing we do, the more we are sure that it will work when released. But if the testing takes longer than 30 minutes, we have definitely gone too deep. It is better to aim for about half that.

Regarding the newer version, it is best to use the Debian Bug Tracking System to submit a wishlist bug (Severity: wishlist) for the new version:
