Bug Description

I have a ATI Radeon X300 PCIE video card with "radeon" driver ; GoogleEarth opens correctly but is so awfully slow that I cannot use it ;
for information there was a freeze on the splash screen with the "fglrx" driver.

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Where did you install GoogleEarth from? It is not in any official Ubuntu repositories. Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Thanks for your bug report.
Unfortunately, there's nothing we can do about it.
You can wait for a new release of the radeon driver or retry with the fglrx proprietary driver, there should be a workaround for your issue in /usr/share/doc/googleearth/README.Debian).
