The crash is due to a Boost issue. Boost 1.52+ has been told to fix this and to produce the actual kernel compiler issue. I need to find time to install the newer version from the sources and see. Might not happen for 0.8, but who knows.

This was a problem in a VexCL's kernel. Fixed in VexCL.
