Bug Description
If the user wants a minimalist desktop environment with openbox and lxpanel, then it would be useful to offer a configuration option somewhere in order to disable the desktop icons and interaction (i. e. "pcmanfm --desktop --profile lubuntu").
Moreover, this is using a few memory :

The only workaround is removing this line in the /etc/xdg/ lxsession/ Lubuntu/ autostart file :
---
@pcmanfm --desktop --profile lubuntu
---
However, this will disable the feature for all users.
