Adding a book to a list should have some visual indication

It is disconcerting to perform an action and not have any feedback. For example, when adding a book to a my list, one is never sure if that book is added or not.

Ideally:

When adding a book to a list, there should be some visual cue to indicate success. On a similar vein, when adding a book to a list, and the book is already in the list, there should be some visual indication that the book is already in the list.
