vmlinuz.old symlink points to new kernel after upgrade

Bug Description
Beginning with 12.10 I noticed that with each kernel upgrade the symlink /vmlinuz.old points to the new current kernel. I change the link manually each time, but it goes back to pointing to the new kernel with the next upgrade.
