Controller must be reselected in options after starting mixxx

I use the Hercules MP3 e2 on Linux and it works fine.
But after i start mixxx, it forgets the controller settings and i have to go to settings and reselect the preset (the activated checkbox is still checked).
I am using mixxx 1.11.0 from the mixxx ubuntu repositories

I can't reproduce this in master on OS X. Could someone test master on Linux? Maybe this is fixed?

Maybe this is caused by the way we mangle the controller name into a preset filename?

For me, the enabled button stays and the preset stays loaded too.

@bomox -- do you have multiple devices or just one MIDI device?

Could you past the contents of your ~/.mixxx/controllers folder (just list the files in that folder) and your ~/.mixxx/mixxx.cfg file? I'd like to try and debug this.

also, a log file from running Mixxx would be helpful. Run it, reproduce the error, then post your ~/.mixxx/mixxx.log file
