Rhythmbox does not play PLS files in 13.04

Bug Description
I just upgraded from 12.10 to 13.04 (Quantal to Raring) using Software Updater. Before, I could get streaming with my radio station (KCSM San Mateo, CA) working with Rhythmbox by using the Radio feature. That stopped working with 13.04. However, trial and error revealed that making Banshee the default for PLS files solved the problem. As I recall, Banshee was the default long ago, and then Rhythmbox became the default and Banshee stopped working on PLS files. Now, Rhythmbox has stopped working and Banshee is back.
actionparsnip suggested that I report this as a bug.
