Bug Description
Fogger is unable to perform actions on mailto: links.
Instead of getting my default email client opened with the options set in the mailto link, I get a new Fogger window with an error message
Unable to load page
Problem occurred while loading the URL mailto:<email address hidden>
URL cannot be shown

I know this bug report is super old but Fogger is pretty much DEAD . . . I found a solution that I have migrated to.
Midori is a lightweight browser that has Application support, these applications have individualized sessions just like Fogger but also has added benefits of being a full browser.
Midori Applications do not have the level of integration with Unity that Fogger had but basically there are so few apps and so few Unity integrations with the Fogapps that do exist it really doesn't matter. (I abandoned my two fogapps years ago because of Owais abandoning Fogger.)
