lxpanel crashes randomly

Bug Description

lxpanel seems to crash randomly and then restarts itself. I found the following in my syslog:

Update, lxpanel now crashes about 10 times in a 12 hour day.

Ubuntu 13.04 (raring) reached end-of-life on January 27, 2014.
