iwatch doesn't recognize directory hirarchy created with 'mkdir -p'

When a series of directories is created with 'mkdir -p' only the first level gets watched by inotify.

E.g. after 'mkdir -p A/B/C/D' only A gets watched. Took me quite a while to find out why my scripts didn't behave like they should.

Did you use the recursive flag?

iwatch -r directory

I've found that iwatch doesn't seem to work if I use a trailing slash

iwatch -r directory/
