Bug Description
The position of the window for an application should be remembered or be positioned consistently (in the centre). Some applications whose last position of window is remembered are pantheon-files, system monitor and vlc media player.
Some applications that aren't remembered include maya,shotwell, system settings, firefox, libreoffice and many more. They currently start in the middle or to the top left of the scrreen.
This may be application specific,however it should atleast be working for the applications shipped with elementary.
