After installing a module from the list of modules, client is redirected to inbox

When I go to the module list (Settings ==> Modules ==> Installed modules, then remove the selection on installed) and install a module, after completing the installation I am redirected to Messages==> Inbox.

No message or anything about wether installation completed succesfully or otherwise.

And when i want to install the next module, I have to take all the steps to go where I was before.

I think this method of working is very admin unfriendly and contradicts every rule of Interface Design.

I have checked this issue with latest trunk as well as 7.0 .But its working fine at my end
I did not face any problem like yours.So would you please check this again with latest code
and inform us.

Retried again with latest 7.0 code and problem remains.

Not only that, everybody I ask, except you, is experiencing the same problem.

I attach three images for illustration;

1. View installed modules

2. Same view after removing 'Installed' and searching on account_c

3. Inbox shown after clicking on Install under the module account_cancel.

Hello Ronald ,

I have checked your issue again with latest code , its working fine with Main module like .. [ sale , purchase , project , mrp ,
point of sale .. etc ] there is no problem with load default menu because in demo.xml todo action is define.
if for default menu load todo action is not define in module its redirect to inbox. So its not a bug
but improvement.
