Bug Description

I'm using Kubuntu 13.04 (Raring Ringtail) and Kazam 1.4.3, while doing screencasting (no matter if I choose MP4, VP8 or AVI) my voice sounds like "metallic", it sounds distorted. Using "arecord" from terminal makes a very clean record of my voice, no distortions there. I have noticed that, if I disable one of the two channels that appears while recording with Kazam in Pavucontrol, my voice sounds well, see the attachment below.

This is very frustrating because I have to mute one of those channels everytime I want to record something, and also I would like to say that the command "arecording" records a way better than the recording of Kazam, I don't know what's the different, but I am using the same michrophone.

Sorry for my bad english, hope you understand what I tried to say.

Try lowering the volume in the preferences. There are a few minor quirks with volume settings that probably need some sorting out.

Yeah, that's what I have to do everytime I want to record something, so I need to start recording and then with Kmix or Pavucontrol I have to mute one of the channels. I tried other sound configurations but they don't work. In 12.10 recording with Kazam didn't need to do these adjustments but don't know why is this happening :/
