Bug Description

Just after reboot with a new kernel, I saw a Kernel Oops/BUG scroll up the screen. light dm didn't load properly (I saw the mouse overlaid over the kernel Oops text instead of the user picker) and Ctrl-Alt-F1 made the mouse disappear but didn't give me a console so I had to do a hard reboot. The computer then booted successfully.

I've attached the dmesg output from the failed bootup since I'm not sure if it reproduced in the current boot dmesg.

I've seen the mouse-over-text problem before but I thought it was resolved after upgrade to Raring (tracked by Bug 1094567).

I'm running a Samsung NP900X4C-A03US laptop.
