Empathy shows no contacts in Ubuntu 13.04

I made a an upgrade von Ubuntu 12.10 to 13.04. The upgrade process showed me no errors.

Now it happens that Empathy crashes sometimes directly after booting.
If it stays alive it doesn't show me any contacts but I can reseave messages and answer to them.

What I tried with no or no permanent effect :
 - apt-get remove empathy --purge && apt-get install empathy -y
 - service lightdm restart
 - rebooting

sorry for the delay. I haven't check it yet. So it could be possible that it's the same bug.
But I'm not sure if the contacts are not shown or just offline.

I will have a lock on it tomorrow or friday and give you a feedback.

There have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates. It would help us a lot if you could test it on a currently supported Ubuntu version. When you test it and it is still an issue, kindly upload the updated logs by running apport-collect <bug #> and any other logs that are relevant for this particular issue.
