Clementine freezes during sync to Android

My music library contains about 3500 songs. As soon I select all tracks and select the 'Copy to device' command, clementine UI gets stucks (turns greyed in Linux). Music is correctly copied to the device anyway, but - since the UI is stuck - I do not know when the copy is over.
