Elementary randomly crashes

Elementary randomly crashes on my PC. I would open a folder or a web browser or whatever and all of a sudden it freezes, but the cursor remains active. It's very weird. I can use other Linux distros just fine, but Elementary consistently crashes after a few minutes of use.
