Bug Description
Ubuntu 13.04 (3.8.0-19-generic). Thinkpad X201.
Network link will not come up on wired (ethernet) connection unless the laptop is plugged in - will not connect if running on battery. Wifi connection working ok on both battery and plugged in (Intel Centrino Ultimate-N 6300).
