Unable to resume after screen has locked on ubuntu 13.04

Bug Description

On an updated Ubuntu 13.04 if I wait more than ~20 seconds before tray to unlock the screen stays completely black and the system require an hardware reboot. If I unlock the screen before the ~20 seconds are expired everything works perfectly.

I have the same problem. Have tried all video driver options in settings. I must boot with nomodeset in order to see something different from a black screen, which looks the same as the black screen described in the bug. My dmesg output is attached.
