Bug Description

after upgrading to 13.04, the unity ui does not work. After logging in, there is only a blank black bar at the top, and clicking any of the icons at the left does nothing.

I tried using the machine again, but the bar loaded that time, and again after rebooting, so it seems to have been a one time thing.
