Okay, apparently the battery indicator is for the rechargeable battery in my Logitech diNovo Edge Bluetooth keyboard.
I found that out by clickin on the actual battery item in the menu bar list.

Perhaps a clearer indicator of what battery is what is in order? :D

After running every update the Update Manager could find, I notice it, too, thinks my BT keyboard's battery is really a laptop battery. See attached screenshot.
