Bug Description

I'm using Ubuntu 13.04 and latest Spotify version. The spotify icon (when the application is not running) it's sticked on the launcher, and this is ok. When I click on it, another icon appears (see the attached picture).

This happened also in older versions of Unity. Could someone please fix this?

Have you sticked a local version of the spotify icon maybe?

What do you mean exactly? I just launched Spotify using the Dash, then I righ-clicked on the icon choosing "Lock to Launcher". That's all I did.

Just to clarify this doesn't happen always but very often. It also happened on different machines.

I don't think this bug happens randomly. I can reproduce the bug predictably.

To reproduce the bug:

1. Open Spotify from the Unity launcher.
2. Exit Spotify.
3. Open Spotify again.

To avoid the bug:

1. Open Spotify from the Unity launcher.
2. Click Hide Spotify in the system tray icon (this may require a few tries until it says Open Spotify).
3. Exit Spotify.
4. Open Spotify again.

The key is to click Hide Spotify first in the system tray icon.

Can anyone confirm?
