Lightread is missing deps in Ubuntu 13.04 Raring

I have updated to Raring and I see several obsolete libraries that only remain because they are used by lightread (and nitrotasks). Since Raring doesn't have these deps, it is not possible to install lightread on Ubuntu 13.04.

The immediate fix is to search a quantal (12.10) archive for listed packages. Install them first, then install lightread. I don't think software center can install multiple packages, but this might work.
   cd path/to/downloaded/deb/dir
    software-center *.deb

The long term fix might be to remove the launchpad integration. I think the lib is for bug reporting and translations from the UI. I don't think Ubuntu uses this anymore.

12th may - bug is still present, cant use Lightread in Ubuntu 13.04. Any temporary fix would be appreciated.

Same here on fresh 13.04 64bits install using the ppa.

I got it to work in 13.04 by downloading the source https://launchpad.net/lightread and simply running it.

It seems that it is impossible to install! Have tried most things and nothing works. 13.04 64bit

I submitted a pull request with a fix to https://github.com/stayradiated/LightRead/pull/26 . With the patch applied, I successfully built the package and the app works fine. Hopefully it will get merged soon and updated in Ubuntu as well, so that everyone else can continue using the app. In the mean time, the app can still be run fine from source, if anyone is feeling adventurous (there are instructions at https://github.com/stayradiated/LightRead ).
