Bug Description

At shutdown and reboot after booting from a dd-cloned USB drive (dd if=iso-file of=/dev/sdusb), and the graphical splash screen with dots is running, the text prompting to remove the external drive and press ENTER is hidden (not shown). And this is the common situation. But for example in a VirtualBox machine, there is a text splash screen, and the text is shown.

It should be easy to restore the behaviour to what was there is earlier versions, and show the message also with the graphical splash screen.

Also, this is not a problem when using usb-creator-gtk from an old version of Ubuntu.

You may ask why I clone with dd. One reason is that usb-creator-gtk is broken (bug 1054712), another that dd is simple and fast, and I use a script, that makes it safe.
