Bug Description
After installing the latest daily image of Kubuntu, I noticed that there is no boot splash at all. I see the kernel boot messages scroll across my screen instead. With the Live CD, the boot splash works with no issues. The boot splash stopped working for me once installed.
My laptop is a Thinkpad T430 with Intel graphics.
