Alias emacs to emacs24 during install

Bug Description

This is an enhancement request to change the aliasing of the emacs metapackage used for e.g. to `apt-get install emacs` to alias emacs 24 rather than emacs 23. There are enough enhancements in emacs 24 to make it the default emacs install.

I would actually prefer if emacs was installed by default in the base Ubuntu install but that probably should be another issue or enhancement request. This is merely regarding the aliasing of the emacs metapackage to GNU Emacs 24 rather than version 23.
