Shortcut Keys still perform commands when renaming tracks

After double-clicking the track name (for instance, "Electric Guitar", "Vocal", or "Drumkit") the keyboard shortcuts still work. For instance, when trying to label a track "Overdub", you end up with a track named "Ove" and the program begins recording. Or, if you make a mistake in naming your track and try to use backspace to fix it, the program deletes the track. This is in version 0.9 (installed from .deb binary) and can be replicated.
