nicotine crashed out of nothing

nicotine crash often when I use the search tool.

nicotine-1.2.12+dfsg-1ubuntu2 crashes under Kubuntu Lucid Lync (Linux 2.6.32-11-generic-pae #15-Ubuntu SMP i686 GNU/Linux) after starting multiple searches at once. When starting only one search it crashed out of 10 tries 2 times.
