What does exactly happen? Is your printer not seen at all or is it assigned the wrong driver? Which one? If you start system- config- printer and click "Add Printer", does your printer appear in the list of detected printers? If you select it and in the next step select a suitable driver (if your model is not listed something like "Generic PostScript" or "Generic PCL ...", usually only works with lasers), can you set up the printer and print?
