gnome-shell extension not working

Bug Description

The extension to gnome-shell that is meant to move the magick-rotation icon to the system status area does not work with the gnome-shell that comes with ubuntu.
(I installed an activated it according to INSTALLER.txt.

You don't say what version of Ubuntu you are using.

When I posted, that was Ubuntu quantal, now it's raring, with gnome-shell 3.6.3.1 (that's what comes with raring). insztalling the shell extension does not seem to change anything.
