unity-lens-photos runs at 100% CPU for no reason

I do not have many photos, and when I have run strace against the process, that is not what it is doing. See stout.txt attachment.

I am also affected by the same bug, it is enough to open the dash to launch any program, and unity-lens-photos starts to use 100% cpu
