Bug Description

The following is the reason
Apr 15 08:21:14 in-target: The following packages have unmet dependencies:
Apr 15 08:21:14 in-target: linux-server : Depends: linux-generic (= 3.8.0.17.33) but it is not going to be installed
Apr 15 08:21:14 in-target: E

The d-i is probably looking for 3.8.0.17.33 but the archive has moved on to 3.8.0-18.28.

The impacted daily smoke tests are,
https://jenkins.qa.ubuntu.com/view/Raring/view/Smoke%20Testing/job/raring-server-amd64-smoke-default/173/
and
https://jenkins.qa.ubuntu.com/view/Raring/view/Smoke%20Testing/job/raring-server-i386-smoke-default/176/

The bug is reported to account the failures

Sorry I was meant to close it once the 20130415.1 images with the d-i matching the kernel version in the archive were released. Closing it now since the installation succeeds.

Changed in debian-installer (Ubuntu):
status: Incomplete → Fix Released
