Bug Description

System summary: The OS is LMDE, the very latest. It was downloaded from the LM site and its iso burned just prior to installing it to this PC. It uses P4 on an Intel MB and has an HP 1260 DVD burner, a zip drive, a floppy drive and 2 HD drives. Prev OS was openSUSE just before LMDE today. LMDE is installed on the 80 GiB and there are remnants of openSUSE still on the problematic 2nd 80 GiB HD whose partially detected capacity is only 33 GiB! (The remnants will be tossed via GParted as soon as I file this report.) Bug Description: I was in the middle of downloading my data-files from SpiderOak. 1 of 3 had folders had been downloaded and its data reconstructed to the proper system folder. The next folder had partially been downloaded but contrary to the usual course of action, it appeared in two partial sections in the Library folder of FireFox. All of a sudden, the entire system froze but the mouse. The cursor could be freely moved around the desktop but it had no effect what so ever on the LMDE operating system! The desktop would only react for a 1 sec or 2, showing the "empty" LMDE desktop behind it, when I pressed the ESC key in rapid succession about 4 to 7 times. The time displayed at the bottom right corner of the desktop showed 17:36 hours but the time was really more like 17:57 Pacific Time. I then decided to conduct a Hard Reboot and so pressed the reset button on the front of the PC box. Aftermath: The system is normal. I don't that the freeze-up can be reproduced. I will file another report if it happens again but I don't expect it to. I think that it was a combination of all system (2 HDD, one w/problems & possible also the SpiderOak site). I did have two errors afterwards in opening a downloaded folder from SpiderOak and again in re-starting the download again. But, I think that those errors are on the part of the website server because I closed the site, then re-opened it and both the LMDE system and website worked fine. The LMDE system is still working fine as of this moment.
