Bug Description
When Inkscape is loading a ps file with patterns, there are two problems:
1. It's very slow.
2. Patterns don't show up properly. Open the attached eps in gv or any other ps viewer, you'll see a diagonal line made from circles of patterns. When opening in Inkscape, you either don't see the patterns (thus the circles) or see tiny bits and flashes of it when you zoom and drag it around the screen.
Inkscape 0.48.4 r9939 on Kubuntu 13.04 beta.

- confirmed on Windows 7, Inkscape 0.48.4
- confirmed on Windows XP, Inkscape development build 12260.
- in 0.48.4 the results seem to depend on zoom level
- in recent trunk build, the circles in the diagonal pattern have a solid fill, no pattern, independent of zoom level
