Bug Description

The amb-plugins package has the description "ambisonics LADPSA plugins". It should say LAD*SP*A. The package does not show up in searches for "LADSPA" in synaptic or software-centre, which affects the discoverability of the package. This problem affects Raring and previous releases - not sure when the typo was introduced.

Thanks for taking your time to report this issue and help making Ubuntu better.

The typo in the package description is still present in amb-plugins 0.8.1-4 on Ubuntu 15.04.

I have forwarded this bug report to Debian (with a patch for the description) and attached a bug watch.

The patch was accepted into Debian, correcting the description. It is fixed in amb-plugins 0.8.1-5 which has been synced to Ubuntu Xenial (the current development version), which means it will be part of Ubuntu 16.04. Thus, I believe this issue can be marked fixed.
