Clicking install debug symbols does nothing

Bug Description

When plasma crashes and the crash reporting assistant comes up, it says that the backtrace information is not useful, and it says I need to install debug symbols to improve it. so when I click that, a window comes up saying looking for debug packages, then it goes away, and nothing has changed. It still says to install the debug symbols, and they are never installed.

I meant the backtrace of plasma-desktop which allowed you to install debug symbols.

There is no backtrace. Backtrace is for things that crashed.

Can't fix this unfortunately. Without knowing which symbols weren't resolved there is no chance of getting this resolved.

However, we have general improvements coming up which may help prevent the issue in the future. No ETA yet though.
