Bug Description

Version 0.4.1 has a known bug that prevents it from working at all on a new installation (AttributeError: 'Job' object has no attribute 'id'). This bug was fixed in 0.4.2 in July 2012 (and later backported to 0.4.1.1).
Upstream bug: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=671635

I see that there is a build for 0.4.2 in raring, but currently i386 only (our server is amd64).

I would like for a working version to be ported to 12.04 LTS, as 0.4.1 is the ONLY available version in 12.04 so I can't even downgrade the package in order to have a working rebuildd daemon.

the fix from version 0.4.1.1 in debian wheezy is probably appropriate for precise.
please see https://wiki.ubuntu.com/StableReleaseUpdates on how to get a stable release update started

also rebuildd is architecture independent (or arch: all) so its only built on i386 but works on all architectures, including amd64.

Changed in rebuildd (Debian):
status: Unknown → Fix Released
