Bug Description
MySQL 5.5 server can't see (and can't use) an index on a timestamp column if collation differs. Only MySQL 5.5 server is affected with this issue (MySQL 5.1, MySQL 5.6, MariaDB 5.5 or 10 works as expected).
This issue is also introduced in Percona Server 5.5.
