Copy xls files convet into wrong dates

Bug Description

Copy Excel file (XLS) into Calc dates 28-July-2009 converts to 28-July-2013
Tried every option to get it correct but not successful.
Asked Launchpad.
What is the output of :

To report the bug. I also recommend you post on the Libreoffice forum, it is more specific to your issue

This isn't recommended, but seeing as it seems to be a LibreOffice specific problem, check out this PPA:

https://launchpad.net/~libreoffice/+archive/libreoffice-4-0

This has the latest 4.0 stable releases in it. They may have fixed the problem there.
