Linux Mint 13 (Maya) Install Fails

Bug Description
Cannot install Maya on system that runs Mint 12, 11, & 10 without issue. ISO install (validated proper md5) fails during install during file copy/install process. Install window(s) close, cursor remains circle showing something is happening and the system reverts to desktop. Live install works fine (as much as I used). This occurs with Cinammon and Mate both. I have log files from the last Mate install. Installed 12 and tried to do in in place upgrade. That failed too. No logs from that.
Please let me know what log files are needed to help with this. Used find . -name *.log to locate log files and then copied them to thumb drive. Hope this is what was needed.
