Bug Description

My Inkscape version is Inkscape 0.48.4 r9939 on Windows 7 Enterprise 64 bit. I want to include a vector drawing in a Word 2010 document. EPS is generally supported by Microsoft Word for that purpose.

Observed behavior:
Custom fill patterns are not displayed in Word. "Stock" fill patterns work. The same happens when the EPS file is opened with Adobe Acrobat 11.1.

Expected behavior:
Custom fill patterns work exactly like stock fill patterns.

A sample SVG file and an EPS export are included.
