Bug Description
Binary package hint: mozilla-thunderbird
In any of the views (classic, wide, or vertical), click the column selector button in the top right corner of the window whose tooltip says, "Click to select columns to display."
This button only works about 25% of the time for me. When it fails, the button gives the appearance of being clicked by showing the depressed image followed by the raised image, but the drop down never shows. I cannot determine the repro steps necessary to cause the drop down to fail. I can say, however, that clicking any of the other "real" column header buttons works just fine all the time, such as "Subject," "Sender," "Date," etc. So it's something about the column selector button.
