as mentioned here (upstream) https:/
i have rebuilt locally the tig-1.1 tag (from upstream), and confirm that the problem is indeed fixed.
any chance to get tig-1.1 quickly in the archive , even before 13.04...

Raring (13.04) still has 1.0 and is affected therefore.
It would require a Stable Release Update (see https:/ /wiki.ubuntu. com/SRU).
