Seems to be reproduceable by 'like'ing facebook posts.

Well, ya got me. Python code shouldn't be segfaulting, *EVER*, so this is either a bug in pygi, or Gio.

There may be a workaround possible in python but I don't currently know what it might be. I'm unable to reproduce this -- liking facebook posts is working fine for me.

to me friends crashes on upgraded system. If I take fresh (guest sesion) and configure to listen to facebook - everything alright

Arns, do you know what crash you're getting? It would be helpful to see the error message (such as the contents of the file ~/.cache/friends/friends.log). Please file a new bug with as much information as you're able to provide.
