Hello and sorry for being so late for answering to this bug report. Other, more important issues were on the way.

Can you please explain the exact steps in order to reproduce the steps?

Is this happening every time you select a folder?

Hi Alex
I have since updated to 13.10 and the error is no longer present. I assume it was some regression that caused this.
Bug no longer valid for me.
