small text printing error

Bug Description
When printing the attached PDF file with evince, I get an empty page and a second page with following error message printed on:

The error number can vary. A printout of today showed the number 15 instead of 11.
I get the same bug when printing the corresponding OpenDocument text file in LibreOffice. I can print the file correctly with Ubuntu 12.04 LTS.
Ubuntu 13.04 and saucy (as of today) is affected by this bug.
