I've been using Tomboy notes syncronization to Ubuntu One happily for a year or so. All of a sudden it doesn't work anymore.

There are other sync options that may work for you. You can setup your own WebSync server with Rainy or SSHSync if you have a server with SSH access. The full list is available on the "Add-ins" tab under Tomboy's Preferences window.
