Intel graphics misbehaving for a week now

All was beautiful, and now it all keeps crashing. 4th rebuild in a week. Ubuntu 32, 64, and now Xubuntu. All OK until the update happens. is the latest intel drivers causing me problems, or has my server had a haemmhorage?
